Dr. Petrone performes outpatient diagnosis, observation, consultation, treatment, intervention and rehabilitation services in his private clinic. Thanks to the last advanced medical devices, it is possible to perform most of these procedures even outside of the hospitals

HOSPITAL CARE

Inpatient hospital care includes highly specialized surgical procedures in Bari for the treatment of the most common ear, nose and throat pathologies, as well as balance disorders. It is also qualified in skull base surgery and in the surgical management of head and neck tumors

Dr. Petrone is Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Bari and at the Italian Academy of Resident Physicians (AIMS), both in Italy (Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Catania, Catanzaro, Florence, Genoa, Messina, Milan, Naples, Padua, Palermo, Pisa, Rome, Sassari, Siena, Turin, Verona) and Spain (Madrid)

SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP

Dr. Petrone is a Member of the Italian National Board of the Italian Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery (SIOeChCF) as Team Management Junior Member, and Chief Web Officer (CWO) of the Italian Hospital Association of Otolaryngology (AOOI)

CHARITY ACTIVITY

Dr. Petrone is the Medical spokesman of “Udito Italia Onlus”, a Non-profit Organization, official partner of the Presidency of the Italian Council of Ministers, the Italian Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO) for the prevention of hearing loss

RESEARCH ACTIVITY

Dr. Petrone is author of academic textbooks and scientific research projects. He is reviewer and editor for most scientific journals: “ACTA Otorhinolaryngologica Italica”, “Pharmacy News” and “The Audiologist”. He is speaker and tutor in national and international conferences

BIOGRAPHY

A successful family history of Otolaryngologists

Dr. Petrone, MD, Otolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon, was born in Bari in 1980. He chose ENT as his medical specialty because of the great example of his father Domenico, who has been Head and Neck Surgeon and Chair of the Dept. of Otolaryngology at Di Venere Hospital in Bari for many years.

Since February 2020, Dr. Paolo Petrone is a medical doctor in the Dept. of Otolaryngology at Di Venere Hospital in Bari. Now he has also hospital management roles and he is a Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Bari School of Medicine.

EXPERIENCE ABROAD

Adult and pediatric ENT clinical and surgical training in Italy and abroad, completing many professional experiences in Bari, Amsterdam, London, Milan and Verona

MEDICAL UPDATE

Update on diseases and therapies developed thanks to the participation in the planning and development of national and international research projects

LISTENING AND EMPATHY
